It’s official. This past Tuesday I was juried up to senior membership of the Federation of Canadian Artist. I am humbled and honoured to be given this stature in such an important historical group. I look forward to years of development with my art and this group.

​I've had two works accepted in the Society of Canadian Artists 2020 Elected Member's Juried Online Exhibition.  'Who can hear the wind' oil on panel 48 X 48. and "On the Quiet Side" oil on panel  40 X 50.  I am very pleased that  'On the Quiet side was won and award of Merit. 



'Nor'easter' oil on panel 48 x 60 has been accepted into the Federation of Canadian Artists exhibition Painting on the Edge. This painting is featured online only (its too big lol ) and is available for sale from my studio . Contact me if you like more information

I am very please to announce that 'She Dreams in Colour' oil on panel 48 X 36 has won the Gary Chapman Award for most innovative work in the East Central Ontario Art Association Annual Juried Exhibition. Gary was a very good friend and a huge mentor to me. We lost him to cancer a couple years ago and a huge hole will stay with ECOAA forever. He was a major player in the group. keeping order with his calm voice at meetings and playing guitar until the sun came up on many and great weekend.  It was an honour to receive this and i know I heard him chuckle when they told me.

Dancing with Sunshine has been accepted to hang in the Federation of Canadian Artists landscape Exhibition at the Federation Gallery in Vancouver.  and it has SOLD!
’It’s all Relative’ has won the Bronze Award at the Oshawa Art Association 51st Juried Art Exhibition. On until May 5th at the Robert M‘cLaughlin Gallery
Goodbyes and Hellos
Its been a hard decision but I've chosen to give up two excellent Galleries. I am saying goodbye to both the Gallery on the Lake in Buckhorn and the Algonquin Art Centre. They've both been wonderful Galleries to work with and i wish them all the best. 
A big hello to Butter Gallery in Collingwood  as well as  Shane Norrie Contemporary in Stratford ON. Both are some of my favourite Ontario Towns and now I have a great reason to visit more often :) 
Both "Pretty in Pink' 42 X 42 and "The Morning Air tasted like Misty Mints' 48 x48 have been accepted into The East Central Ontario Art Association 60th Annual Juried Exhibition .  on until Dec 28 at the John M Parrott Gallery, Belleville Public Library. 
" The Morning Air tasted like Misty Mints" has won the Dora Purdon Award for best oil :)  both pieces are available for purchase
